The college football season is officially back! Yes, Week 0 happened last week, but to the larger public, Labor Day weekend has always signified the beginning of fall and therefore football season.
To those of you who are new to this prospect schedule, this is a personally curated collection of matchups between draft eligible players this weekend where there are individual matchups on both sides of the ball. An example is: we all know that Trey'Dez Green is one of the top TE prospects in CFB this year, but we will learn a lot more from his performance against Clemson's elite LB, Sammy Brown, than from his performance against LA Tech. So if you say wHy is JeREmiAh SMiTh noT iN tHe LIst tHis wEEk?? I'll know you can't read.
Think of this list as a shorthand for what matchups to key in on as you quad-box up on Saturday, or to jump into first once your All-22 provider gets everything uploaded next week.
In addition, this year I will write a little about a matchup I really want to watch this weekend, and then I will write a review of both players once I have time to watch it the following week.
